Is there Any Justice in This Country? NO!

Is there Any Justice in This Country? NO!

I decided to write about the Fujitsu Scandal because of one reason that both political parties, Conservatives and Labour were instrumental in bringing pressure to Fujitsu to place their new HORIZON IT SYSTEM in THE POST OFFICE with their backing and knowing it had bugs galore.  The system hadn’t been tested and it didn’t work and they lied, lied and lied about it.  Now those two leaders of their parties have been knighted.  So it looks like it doesn’t matter what you do in life something good or something really bad, you get rewarded, but only if you’re a member of parliament!

Also I only wrote the questions.  The answers were from an un-identified source.

I asked the question about Fujitsu Company if they only built and supplied Computers to home owners only?

The answer: No, that is a common misconception. While Fujitsu is known globally for household electronics like air conditioners and laptops, it is primarily a massive global IT and technology conglomerate. In fact, the majority of Fujitsu is building systems such as (e.g., the infamous Horizon IT system they built for the UK Post Office).

I asked if Horizon still had persons working there that were involved in the scandal?

The answer:  Several key individuals and executives associated with the faulty Horizon IT system have faced investigations for perjury, deception and their role in wrongful prosecutions. Many of those specifically accused of lying or covering up the system’s faults have stepped down or been dismissed.

I did ask, knowing there were flaws in IT System, why didn’t they rectify these first before placing the programme in a Post Office system?

The answer: Yes, fundamentally, software developers and IT providers have a professional obligation to thoroughly test and ensure the reliability of their systems before placing them into a client’s business.

I did ask again:  Why go ahead when knowingly there were problems with the system and why did they lie about their system?

The answer: Fujitsu pressed ahead with the Horizon rollout despite knowing about flaws due to massive financial incentives, tight contractual deadlines, and a shared desire with the Post Office to protect their commercial brands. Both parties treated the software as “robust” enough for business operations, prioritizing system delivery over fixing known bugs.

Fujitsu went ahead with the Horizon system primarily due to immense pressure from high-value government contracts, strict budget constraints, and an overreliance on existing proof-of-concept software. They concealed and lied about the system’s flaws to protect their lucrative corporate partnership with the Post Office, cover up software engineering failures, and avoid financial penalties inherently unviable which would have cost Fujitsu millions.

I asked:  Why lie about a system that Horizon knew had flaws and try to lay the blame on innocent persons just doing their work?

The answer: You are entirely correct. The Post Office Horizon IT scandal is widely recognized as one of the most severe miscarriages of justice in UK history. Innocent sub-postmasters were wrongly prosecuted, imprisoned, and financially ruined by a faulty computer system.

The government cites the sheer complexity of calculating individualized, evidence-based losses as the main cause for the slow payouts. However, victims, campaigners, and cross-party MPs strongly criticize the schemes for being overly bureaucratic and slow, warning that delays force elderly or ill victims to pass away before receiving redress.

I asked:   As far as this Government is concerned does it depend on MONEY, not PERSONS that have been wrongly imprisoned and prosecuted because of Government pressure on Fujitsu HORIZONS IT SYSTEMS failure to work?

The answer: While over ÂŁ1.5 billion has been paid out to more than 11,500 claimants, structural and administrative failings have been heavily scrutinized. Systemic & Structural Delays. Individual Assessments: Processing full, evidence-based compensation claims takes a significant amount of time because every financial shortfall, loss of earnings, and personal trauma must be meticulously evaluated Bureaucracy.

I asked: Why should the victims be made to fight the government for what is due to them?

The answer:  Victims must fight the government for compensation because the state operates complex bureaucratic systems where officials are tasked with protecting the public purse, frequently resulting in delayed or low-ball settlements. In scandals, the state may act as both the cause of the injustice and the arbiter of the redress, creating a conflict of interest that forces victims to seek legal or political intervention.

It just goes to show how much twaddle of words it takes the Government to answer my questions.

Although the VICTIMS have to FIGHT for the MONEY that the POST OFFICE STOLE!  The GOVERNMENT TOOK AWAY THEIR LIVELIHOOD WITHOUT FINDING OUT THE TRUTH!

The above is just my opinion and anyone who wants to write to me care of the newspaper regarding this content – please do so!  Swear words are not accepted
